🔺🔺 Uses of Present Participles in English Grammar 🔺🔺

5. TWO ACTIONS :-

1) এক সাথে ঘটছে  2) একটার পর একটা ঘটছে - এক কর্তা (Same Subject) 3)  ভিন্ন কর্তা (Different Subject)

Examples Present Participles in same subjects:

1)  এক সাথে ঘটছে - এক কর্তা :-     He rode away. He whistled as he went.

       He rode away whistling.

2) একটার পর একটা ঘটছে - এক কর্তা :-           He opened the drawer and took out a revolver.

       Opening the drawer he took out a revolver.

Examples Present Participles in different subjects:

3)  ভিন্ন কর্তা :-   While I was inspecting the map, the ink overturned.

6. AS/ SINCE/ BECAUSE/ BEING :-

Fearing that the police would recognize him he never went out in day light.

Being a student he was naturally interested in museums.

7. REPLACE A RELATIVE CLAUSE :-

_______________________________

People who wish to visit... 👉 People wishing to visit... 

Children who need medical attention... 👉 Children needing medial attention.
